    These are great and light weight not gonna last a life time. But long enough to cover the cost. They are a great gaiter for the price.

    Works OK for hiking, but think about the sizing

    I guess I didn't buy these for what they are intended to be. I wanted something to wear when hiking that will keep my trousers/socks clean but not be quite so warm as waterproof over shoes, something like puttees if you like. They work fine for that, not quite as well as I had hoped, but they keep the mud off and the plant debris out of my boots. They're a little lightweight, but on the plus side, no sweaty ankles.

    If you're tempted to buy for a similar use, think about the sizing: these don't reach your toes, so foot size is not so important as calf-size and the size of the socks and shoe/boot you want to put them over!

    Super lightweight gaiters!

    The Montane Trail Lite gaiters are, well light! Ideal for summer use, and will ensure that stones, grit and water stay out of your boots on out on the trail. Excellent.
