The Montane Women's Minimus Lite Waterproof Jacket is a super breathable waterproof layer that's perfect for running and endurance mountain days. Featuring a 20 Denier PERTEX® SHIELD fabric with a fully seam-taped construction, this jacket offers lightweight and packable protection when you need it most. A minimalist feature set helps to keep the weight down, and added stretch allows for an active, close fit. Lightweight, stretchy and highly breathable, PERTEX® SHIELD in the Minimus Lite Jacket provides waterproof and windproof protection in a 2.5 layer construction. Comfortable to wear, very soft to the touch and extremely stretchy, the fabric moves with you and allows for unrestricted dynamic movement when trail running or fastpacking. The fabric is constructed using highly abrasion resistant nylon ripstop, incorporating reinforcement yarns to provide durable resistance to tearing. The fabric is incredibly breathable, providing excellent moisture management when working hard, helping you stay comfortable when moving fast. Being totally windproof keeps out the cold air and helps your insulating layers retain their heat for longer, perfect for on the move or when you stop to rest. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish allows the fabric to shed light rain and snow.

    Great lightweight waterproof

    Bought this for my partner as I have the men's version. She loves it. It is perfect for sport, walking or throwing in a bag, since you never k ow when it will rain in the uk.

    Not waterproof

    Looks nice and held firm against a light shower but on only the second time of wearing my daughter ended up wet across the shoulders, sides and even through the hood. Shame because I’ve never had any issues before with montane clothing and did not expect this. She was only out in the rain 30 minutes as well so it’s not like a full days walking is to blame.

    Great lightweight jacket.

    Bought as a light summer waterproof jacket. Very light. Water just runs up. Quite tight fitting so can only wear a thin jumper underneath.
