The George Fisher Tea Round
The route starts and finishes at the doors of George Fisher, a popular outdoor clothing and equipment brand we’ve long been fans of here at Montane! In between, you’ll tackle 12,000+ feet of ascent, which can be either walked or run, and which takes in some of the Lake District’s most iconic peaks, including the Catbells and Causey Peak.
Alongside conquering an inspiring challenge in an incredible corner of the UK, those who complete the route will receive a prestigious badge of honour, as well as a Montane T-shirt! Learn more about the route in this dedicated video…

Protecting the mountains for future generations
In 2021, we partnered with the Tea Round and Fix the Fells, to help better protect the incredible mountains of the Lake District region.
Anyone who takes part in the Tea Round is encouraged to donate to the upkeep of the paths traversed as part of the route. We then match fund each donation made. Since 2021, we have match funded over £2000.

The Espresso Round
The Espresso Round is the Tea Round’s smaller sibling. Again, starting and finishing at George Fisher’s front doors in Keswick, this is the perfect way to test your fitness before taking on the full Tea Round.
Totalling 14 miles, with 2,000 feet of ascent, you can tackle this challenge either clockwise or anti-clockwise and summit 4 peaks. Catbells, Rowling End, Causey and Barrow which are all visible from George Fisher’s café window.
Although there are no prizes or leader boards for this version of the round, it’s a great place to start and build your confidence.
