If you live outside the UK and wish to return an item purchased from montane.com please follow the return steps outlined below

We have updated our returns policy from August 1st 2021 you have 30 days to return an item purchased from montane.com.


  • You should be able to return the items in the original packaging which the item was delivered.
  • Please ensure that the package is carefully resealed and secure for transit.
  • We are unable to provide a Freepost returns for international orders.
  • Please ensure our returns address (see below) is clearly displayed on the outer parcel, crossing out your own delivery address to avoid delays if you are reusing the packaging.
  • We are unable to accept responsibility for returned items until they arrive in our returns department. Up to this point the item you are returning is your responsibility.
  • We strongly advise that you obtain proof of postage and tracking details. We cannot accept responsibility for goods damaged in transit during their return to us.
  • Due to the nature of international shipping it can take up to 10 working days for items to arrive in the UK.
  • Items are usually processed within two 2 working days of items being received into our Returns Dept.
  • If items are lost or damaged in transit you must contact the courier you used to return the item to make a claim we are unable to take responsibility for goods until they have been signed over to our Returns Department.
  • Following a successful inspection your items will be processed for a refund.


  • All products must be returned as new and is a saleable condition.
  • All accessories and tags should still be attached with no evidence of wear.
  • Please note items returned without their original packaging and tags attached will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • If items are returned damaged or without all swing tags and accessories Montane reserves the right to refuse a refund and may charge to return the product to you.


  • Please indicate the reason you have returned the item (s).


  • Please ensure the item you are returning is well packaged to protect the goods you are returning in transit.
  • We recommend insuring your parcel with the courier.
  • We can not be held responsible for the loss of returns in transit.
  • Please ensure your parcel includes the correct customs paperwork where required.
  • You can check with your courier what paper work will be required at the point of shipment.
  • Montane cannot pay any additional customs charges as a result of missing paperwork.
  • Please retain your certificate of postage.

    Please clearly write your original order number on the outside of the parcel.

  • We process all refunds within two working days of receiving items. We can not accept responsibility for an item until it is signed over to our warehouse, check with your courier for delivery status.
  • Items will be refunded following inspection, items must be in a saleable condition to obtain a full refund.
  • The refund is credited to the credit or debit card that was used to place the order.
  • We can not refund an alternative account.

    Please allow up to 15 working days for your item to arrive and be processed before you contact our customer service team for a progress update on the returns process.
