How to return your item for repair
Repairs are currently taking 15 working days from receipt - peak repair periods are in November and December and it can take up to 20 working days to repair due to volume of repairs received.
How to return your item for repair
Step 1.
Inspect your repair
Is it clean, odorless and easy to identify where a repair is required?
We do not offer a cleaning service and are unable to handle soiled or heavily odoured items due to cross contamination. All items returned for repair must be in a clean and washed condition.
Please ensure all pockets are emptied, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damaged items.
Please include a note to identify the repair if its not obvious, this will help speed up the inspection process.
Step 2.
Pay for your repair
If you're selecting a standard repair please remember to pay for it. (Located at the bottom of this page)
Upon paying for your repair you will be issued an order reference number (prefixed with '#'). Please make a note of this number as you will need this when sending your repair back to us.
Please do not order any additional products in the same order as your repair. If you wish to order additional Montane products please place a separate order.
Please remember this repair service is for Montane items only and is only available for customers in the UK.
Step 3.
Packaging your repair
Please add a note which clearly indicates the damage which requires a repair and the order number provided when you purchased a repair. If you're not sure if we can repair your item then please build a quotation using the link below and our customer service team will be in touch to advise.
Before you return your garment please ensure all pockets have been emptied and any substances removed.
Please ensure the item you are returning for repair is well packaged to prevent any further damage in transit.
Step 4.
Addressing your repair
Please clearly mark your repair to the attention of the repairs team including your order reference number (begining with '#') and use the following address.
For example:
REPAIRS TEAM #12345.

Items that do not include a reference number can not be repaired and may be returned.
Step 5.
Posting your repair
It is your responsibility to return the item, please ensure you obtain proof of delivery and use a service which covers the cost of the item should it get lost in transit.
Step 6.
Repair process
Repair items will be inspected on receipt and sent for repair.
Items will be processed inline with indicated service times.
Our customer service team will be in touch if the item is unable to be repaired or the item is more complicated to repair to discuss next steps.
Step 7.
Repair Completion
Once the item has been repaired you will be notified and the item will be returned.
